The steep stairs accessing the dining areas made it difficult for some guests!!! A more thoughtful approach to outdoor seating would enhance the experience during busier times!!!

It was just a balanced option for a stopover in Hungerford with good price-value balance. The room lighting could use improvement. Be sure to check the menu availability before dining.

I had a lovely time during my stay with a superb room and a beautiful restaurant serving top-notch food that made it feel like a real treat. I particularly appreciated the hotel’s close proximity to Welford Park and the beautiful Hungerford Wharf, which offered peaceful walking routes just a short distance away.

I stayed one night at The Pheasant and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The room exceeded my expectations with its luxurious decor, while the dining experience delighted me with fantastic food and attentive staff. A minor concern was the noise between rooms, but it didn’t overshadow my enjoyable stay.

The staff were very friendly and the little touches made my stay exceptional, like the quality of the toiletries, felt like a 5-star place. And the food was delicious, I had a fantastic burger that came out quick, must've been thanks to a young girl named Frances, she was on top of everything.

Sound travels pretty easily between rooms. you might hear doors slamming and conversations filtering in, which could be distracting if you're looking for a peaceful retreat. Lighting and electrical socket placements in the room were not particularly convenient, especially when trying to use the kettle or work at the desk. the slope at the bar area is subtle but definitely a trip hazard if you're not paying attention.

Had a blast staying here with friends! Great location near some cool spots in the antiques Mecca. The room was comfy and beautifully decorated. The food and drinks at the pub were top-notch. Highly recommend checking out the local scenery and enjoying a meal. it really made our trip special.

Only downer was that I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy breakfast. The stay was too short for that!
